Yitzchok Moully Calendar
Jewish POP 5773 is a 2012/2013 calendar designed for The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P) featuring the artwork of Yitzchok Moully. His work is a creative new approach to traditional Jewish art. Combining bright bold color with warm, timeless Judaic images, the artist intertwines the history and deep culture of the Jewish world with the bright and colorful world we live in today.
Moully’s art reveals that the essence of Jewish thought is far from black and white. Moully is the Youth Rabbi at the Chabad Jewish Center in Basking Ridge NJ, where he resides together with his wife Batsheva and four children, a Rabbi by day and an artist by night – when he gets the chance.
The calendar was well received by customers who saw in the paintings a breath of fresh air compared to more traditional images.
