Common Threads Family Reunion Guide

Common Threads is an annual publication created for ShopRite– a supermarket chain based in Keasbey, New Jersey, consisting of more than 230 stores.

The magazine focuses on the best way to successfully plan a summertime family reunion. This year’s issue features a continuous narrative down the center panel of an African American family organizing and later enjoying their family reunion. As the fictitious characters go through the process, they reveal some missteps and pitfalls common in organizing multipronged events.

To the left and right of the center panel are practical real-world tips that directly relate to the story.

A chart on the back panel provides a very useful and succinct list which an organizing committee could use to ensure their tasks are completed in order and in a timely manner
