Stewards of Creation Calendar
Created for distribution during Rosh Hashanah (The Jewish New Year), this colorful calendar faithfully reproduces Israeli stamps that depict nature—animals, fruits, vegetables, landscapes, etc.
The concept behind the calendar is that man has received a mission to govern creation in order to make all its potential shine. It is a delegation granted at the very origins of creation, when man and woman, who are the image of God (Gn 1:27), receive the order to be fruitful and multiply, to fill the earth and subdue it, and to have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air and every living thing that moves upon the earth. This stewardship, however, must be tempered in wisdom and love, sharing in the boundless wisdom and love of God.
The Stewards of Creation calendar features beautiful artwork of creation depicted on Israeli stamps. The calendar highlights the geographically diverse features of Israel. From the Negev desert in the south to the mountain ranges of the Galilee, Carmel, and the Golan in the north, Israel experiences all four seasons with breathtaking scenery. The stamps celebrate the various fruits, vegetables, flowers and wildlife that are indigenous to Israel.
